AI Assistant Terms of Service
1. Identification of the provider
Reveni's artificial intelligence assistant (the "Service") is provided by Reveni S.L., with Spanish tax ID B09662453 and registered office in Madrid, Spain ("Reveni", "we").
The Service is offered as a feature integrated into the websites of associated e-commerce merchants (the "Merchant") and allows the end user (the "User") to interact with a conversational assistant, obtain recommendations and, optionally, visualize products on their own image.
2. Description of the Service
The Service is offered in a modular configuration. Each Merchant may enable one or several of the following features, and these Terms shall only apply to the User to the extent that the Merchant has enabled the corresponding feature:
- Conversational assistant (chatbot): the User may send text or voice messages to obtain information about products, orders, returns, size guides and Merchant policies. The assistant may request data such as email or order number to help with specific queries.
- Virtual try-on: allows the User to visualize a product on their own image, via photo try-on or live try-on (camera).
- Size recommendation (optional): if the User voluntarily provides sex, height and weight, the system generates an indicative recommendation.
By interacting with any of the features, the User acknowledges having read, understood and accepted these Terms. Should the User disagree, they must refrain from using the Service.
3. Indicative nature of the Service
The Service is exclusively an indicative assistance and visualization tool.
Chatbot responses are automatically generated by language models based on the information made available by the Merchant (catalog, size guides, policies, order data) and authorized context sources. Such responses may contain errors, omissions or inaccuracies and do not constitute legal, medical, financial, tax or any other kind of professional advice. When in doubt, the User should contact the Merchant's official customer service channel.
Images and visualizations from the virtual try-on are compositions generated by AI models. Although they may appear realistic, they must not be interpreted as an authentic representation of the User wearing the garment, but rather as a simulation without guarantees of aesthetic or functional fidelity. Size recommendations are indicative and not binding. Users are advised to consult the Merchant's size guides and product specifications before purchasing.
4. User obligations
The User is solely responsible for the content, truthfulness and lawfulness of the messages and images sent to the Service. In particular, the User undertakes to:
- Provide only truthful information and not to impersonate third parties.
- Not share sensitive information through the chat (health data, credentials, passwords, full banking details or identity documents), as it is not necessary for the provision of the Service.
- Submit only images over which they hold the corresponding rights, including image and intellectual property rights, or for which they hold the necessary third-party authorizations.
- Not use the Service if they are under 16 years of age, unless they have the verifiable consent of their father, mother or legal guardian.
5. License over the images
By using the virtual try-on, the User grants Reveni a free, non-exclusive, time-limited and revocable license over the images provided, exclusively to perform the technical actions necessary to provide the Service, including the reproduction, modification and transformation of the image to generate the product visualization.
The resulting image or video is a creation generated by AI. Reveni grants the User a private and personal use license over such result, only for the purpose of evaluating the product. The User shall not distribute, reproduce, publicly communicate, sublicense, sell or commercially exploit the resulting image or video.
6. Data processing
Use of the Service involves the processing of the User's personal data. Such processing is described in the AI Assistant Privacy Policy, which complements these Terms and forms an integral part thereof. For features that require explicit consent (virtual try-on and size recommendation), the User must check the corresponding box before using them.
To provide the Service, Reveni uses technologies supplied by specialized third-party providers, who act as sub-processors with the contractual guarantees and security measures required by the GDPR. Contracts with such providers prohibit the use of User data to train their AI models.
7. Acceptable use
The User undertakes not to use the Service for illegal, harmful, abusive or inappropriate purposes. The following is prohibited, among others:
- Sending illegal, offensive, violent, pornographic, discriminatory or harassing content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
- Impersonating another person or fraudulently obtaining information about orders or data that does not belong to the User.
- Providing false information with the purpose of obtaining undue advantages (discounts, returns or refunds to which the User is not entitled).
- Attempting to manipulate the model's behavior through prompt injection, bypassing security filters or causing the assistant to generate prohibited content.
- Attempting to circumvent, decompile or reverse engineer the Service's AI systems.
- Using the Service in an automated or massive manner (bots, scrapers, artificial traffic generation) or overloading its infrastructure.
Reveni reserves the right to apply automatic filters, limit usage frequency and restrict or suspend access to the Service for any User who breaches these Terms.
8. Limitation of liability
The Service is offered free of charge and voluntarily, as a complementary tool to the shopping experience. Reveni does not warrant that the Service will be free from errors, interruptions or technical failures, nor the accuracy, exhaustiveness or timeliness of chatbot responses.
Reveni shall not be liable for discrepancies between the virtual try-on visualization and the actual experience of the product, nor for the User's purchase, return or any other decisions based exclusively on the chatbot's responses or the generated image. Nor shall Reveni be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.
The User undertakes to hold Reveni, its directors, employees and agents harmless from any claim, damage or expense arising from the breach of these Terms or the infringement of third-party rights.
9. Intellectual property
All intellectual and industrial property rights over the Service, including software, algorithms, prompts, design, trademarks and logos, belong to Reveni or its licensors. These Terms do not grant the User any rights over them beyond the use of the Service as established herein.
10. Modifications, governing law and contact
Reveni reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Modifications shall enter into force upon publication.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Madrid, unless consumer protection regulations grant the User a different forum.
For any queries related to the Service or these Terms, the User may contact Reveni at legal@reveni.io or by postal mail at Reveni S.L., Madrid, Spain.
